Born in 1989. Writer / Curator.
The author of the book, “Toward Forming” (EKRITS, 2018), a co-author of “DATSUKINDAI SENGEN” (Suiseisha, 2018).
In his recent curatorial practice was ”Malformed Objects – Bricolage for myriads of other bodies” at Yamamoto Gendai in 2017.
Maki Na Kamura
An artist, Maki Na Kamura went to Germany after studying painting at Aichi University of the Arts in the mid-1990s.In 2013, she was awarded the Falkenrot Prize. Maki held solo exhibitions in Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin) in 2014, and other solo exhibitions at Osthaus Museum Hagen (Hagen), CONTEMPORARY FINE ARTS (CFA, Berlin), and the Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens (Belgium) in 2017. As this evidences, she has remained in extensive activity, mainly in Europe. Right now, a solo exhibition of her work is being held at the Gutshaus Steglitz in Berlin (until September 29).It should be added that some of her works are also featured on “The Landscape Paintings Now” (Thames & Hudson Ltd., 2019)as well as “Vitamin P2 – New Perspectives in Painting” (Phaidon Press Ltd., 2011).
