Kohei Sekigawa
Born 1990 in Miyagi Prefecture. Sekigawa Kohei’s practice incorporates a wide range of techniques, such as physical actions using his own body, installation, drawing, and design as a means to examine how meaning is generated in his work through “making” and “seeing.” Major exhibitions include “Incoming Breezes” (Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, 2023), “Azamino Contemporary vol.11 Sekigawa Kohei: Let’s Call It a Day” (Yokohama Civic Art Gallery Azamino, 2020), “They Do Not Understand Each Other” (Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong, 2020), and “40th Anniversary Exhibition—Travelers: Stepping Into the Unknown” (The National Museum of Art, Osaka, 2018).

Aokid
Aokid’s first encounter with breakdancing came at the age of fourteen. Interested in cinema, he studied at Tokyo Zokei University, during which time he started to create works of visual and performing arts. Inspired by moments of connection and encounter between people or people and the city when walking on the street, his practice responds cyclically between the individual and the public, through direct action and works of art. Presenting work both in and outdoors, Aokid’s output includes Dobutsuen (2016–), a promenade performance series held in Yoyogi Park. He also runs Street River & Beer, an ongoing project in which participants dance for an hour and then drink beer and talk for an hour on the streets of Shibuya.

Fu Sakai
Graduated from the Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences, Musashino Art University.
Responsible for editing Hiroyuki Oki’s O My God!. His artistic activities take place throughout Japan, mainly dealing with music improvisation, and exhibitions using sound and music.

DJ Piro Piro (Hiroyuki Oki)
Born in Tokyo in 1964, and his activities are based in Kochi Prefecture, Tokyo, and other locations.
He began producing video works in the early 1980s while pursuing studies at the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering. In 1989, he launched the Buddy Matsumae series consisting of video works made mainly in Matsumae-cho, Hokkaido. He received the Special Jury Prize at the Image Forum Festival for his film Swimming Prohibited in 1990, and the NETPAC Award at the 46th Berlin International Film Festival for his HEAVEN-6-BOX (1995) in 1996. His artistic activities are by no means confined to video; they also extend to drawing, installation, and performance.
