Performers Profile:

DJ Piro Piro (Hiroyuki Oki)

Born in Tokyo in 1964, and his activities are based in Kochi Prefecture, Tokyo, and other locations.
He began producing video works in the early 1980s while pursuing studies at the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering. In 1989, he launched the Buddy Matsumae series consisting of video works made mainly in Matsumae-cho, Hokkaido. He received the Special Jury Prize at the Image Forum Festival for his film Swimming Prohibited in 1990, and the NETPAC Award at the 46th Berlin International Film Festival for his HEAVEN-6-BOX (1995) in 1996. His artistic activities are by no means confined to video; they also extend to drawing, installation, and performance.


Fu Sakai

Graduated from the Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences, Musashino Art University.
Responsible for editing Hiroyuki Oki’s O My God!. His artistic activities take place throughout Japan, mainly dealing with music improvisation, and exhibitions using sound and music.


zzzpeaker (a.k.a. gulpari)

Apart from doing solo live performances on streets or at live music clubs, he is also a member of the music band Tekonogenri, belongs to the theatre unit yennui, and organized numerous improvised events. In 2015, he acted in the play Korubatontori,, directed by Norimizu Ameya, and his solo exhibition Ensou was held in 2019. As a singer-songwriter, he keeps refreshing his career through urban wandering and by organizing events like the improvised event Yaocho, 2023.
