As a part of Takashi Makino’s current solo exhibition “Collage and Anti-cosmos“, we will be hosting a live performance featuring drummer Iwao Yamazaki and talk with critic/curator Gen Umezu.
This live performance will showcase “Space Noise 3D”, which was originally presented at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2013, and has been constantly modified and performed in more than 20 countries worldwide. It is a unique audiovisual performance that combines projected 16mm film with real-time generated video on a single screen. Live music will be performed by Makino (Noise/Electronics) with Yamazaki (Drums) this time.
Following the performance, a talk event will feature Makino in conversation with critic/curator Umezu, who has followed Makino’s work for years.
